A copy of these rules must be signed by a parent and retured to the store before participation in a tournament. You may print out a copy of this page and sign it to send with your child. One copy is required per family.
1. Theft does happen. I would be lying if I said that it doesn't. Please advice your children not to bring in extra cards if not necessary.
2. Mandatory deck checks. This is to make sure that your child is not illegal in his/her decks and to eliminate theft.
3. No backpacks! This is to prevent theft. Only judges are allowed to violate this rule. They have to carry many things for running the tournaments.
4. Have rides set up by 7:45, to pick up your son or daughter. If not there, there will be a 25 cent per usage charge to use the phone, so please have rides arranged.
5. Another problem we have had is a severe lack of respect. All we ask is that your son or daughter show respect for the judges and store personel. The child needs to follow directions and be quiet when asked to. No foul language.
6. There are going to be two different age groups for tournaments. Ages 12 and under in one group and 13+ in another. This is to balance the participants so that younger children aren't playing against adults.
